Purchased at Aldi Grocery in Midwest City, OK. They have changed the lid and the inside safety seal. I am 84 and my friend is 95, and both of us have arthritis. With this change in the product, it is almost impossible for us to open. I tried to contact Aldi's...

If you open the lid after you take it off use the inside of the top lid and push down on the foil and twist it as you are pushing down. That is the easiest way unless you use a knife and punch *** in the foil. I hope this was helpful.

Aldi Grocery review in Dallas, Texas: TV BURP

I HAVE UP UNTIL RECENTLY FOUND THE ALDI ADVERTS ON TV VERY FUNNY. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE MOST RECENT ONE ADVERTISING LEMONADE/BURPING BY TWO LITTLE BOYS. WHILST I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A NATURAL BODILY FUNCTION I DO NOT THINK THAT MAKING MONEY OUT OF GETTING CHILDREN TO ADVOCATE THIS BEHAIVIOUR AND TO ADVERTISE A PRODUCT BY A PROFESSIONAL AND LARGE COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT A CHEAP SHOT AND NOT FUNNY AND IN BAD TASTE, THIS IS MY OPINION OF COURSE, IT SEEMS ANYTHING GOES TO GET PEOPLES ATTENTION, PERHAPS THIS IS THE EXACT REASON WHY YOU WOULD STOOP SO LOW. WHAT WILL YOUR TATICS BE NEXT TIME? ***!!!!!!!! HOW LOW WILL YOU GO?

I can only assume that the originator of the post has never had small boys or indeed been one not to recognise the child hood joy of drinking fizzy pop and then burping the output ahh the joy of childhood

A cheap shot? I can tell a woman wrote this because she put so much passion into that paragraph with all caps. Pull your tampon out lady and quit crying.

Oh come now, it's all in good fun. While I find burping boys quite annoying, and the commercial is not as enjoyable to me as the others, it's still cheeky and silly...and that is welcome. The joy that boys get from burping, clearly must appeal or cause a chuckle here and there.

Aldi Grocery review in Cape Coral, Florida: Treated us in a rude manner

while checking out at store # 17 in clermont fl. my wife and i were placing the items on the conveyor belt and as we pause to say something to each other the cashier yelled "can you finish putting your items" he seemed in a harry, i didn't say anything and continued. as i was trying to pay with my debit card i instructed the cashier to make it credit, well this time he announced in a loud tone of voice"we dont take credit cards" i then told him that i always paid before with my debit card before but i put it as credit, at this time he said oh is a bebit card in an annoyed kind of way. i could no longer take his verbal abusive ways and ask him to stop treating me like an *** and to slow down, he then replied yeah, yeah.. i asked another employe for the manager and she told me that he was the manager. his name was Zach. very rude individual, i im temted never to shop at any of your stores again. you can contact me at eguskt6@aol.com thanks Ted E.

The aldi store at chichester road, south shields has one very rude lady seving at the counter. I bought the store carrier bag and started packing the stuff I wanted to buy the she shouted at me to pack it on the desk away from the counter and wanted me to pay quickly.

How I am suppose to pack things away from the counter without move everything.

She was so bad mannered and not good at all for the customer service. I will never shop again at aldi again.

Service
Aldi Grocery Cashier
I was very excited to hear that the Aldi employees have decided to unite and join the Foodworkers Union. They NEED it! They have been abused by their Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors and District Managers too long. Finally, maybe now they will get some relief...

I really like Aldi. The cashiers are GREAT!

I saw a security guard do something that might have been thought of as racist, not sure if it was racially motivated but I know in Ferguson, MO the guy sure was racial. I reported the incident and was quickly called to get a report.

I have only good to say about Aldi, I just wondered if they were Union since their prices are so good. I expect prices to be much higher when you are paying a cashier $15 an hour.

Aldi Grocery review in London, England: Aldi stores - too rushed for basic courtesy

I am a frequent customer of Aldi and cannot fault the food quality and price of items in store. However I would rate them zero out of ten for customer service. Most times I button my lip and don't complain when being rushed through the checkout because the food is cheap but today I lost my cool because it was unachievable how the checkout operator rushed my shopping through by just chucking items into the trolley like a production line that had gone haywire. I politely asked him to slow down but he said he was "˜Helping me,' I fail to see how throwing cans of cat food onto delicate bags of salad and placing frozen items on top of cakes and squashing them flat is helping anyone. I hate being rushed by Aldi's checkout operators - even cattle on their way to slaughter are kept calm so they are not put through any unnecessary stress. I spend at least £100 on my weekly shop so if Aldi does not value my custom by giving me the time to place my items where I want them then I guess I will go to a supermarket that cares enough to allow adequate time to go through the checkout without making you feel under extreme pressure.

Aldi Grocery review in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: Aldi hides lower grade meats

Bought boneless center cut pork chops for the last time. They keep hiding the lower grade chops under the better cuts. I feel this is dishonest & deceitful. I will no longer buy any meat at Aldi's. Lately the store has been a big disappointment. I called customer service & they are very dismissive. Not very helpful at all. This seems to be a company that does not care about customer concerns or quality of the product. If I wanted to buy cheap pork chops, I would not be paying for center cut boneless. You get the center cut, but you also get the junk hidden underneath or under a label that covers it.

I would not take any meat from aldi. It is the worst place to buy meat.

No butcher shop so what do you expect in the way of freshness. Common practice to hide the not so good looking pieces underneath. Same as women who use makeup to hide their real looks.

It works!! :grin

@***sumer

And this is different from other stores? I'm not advocating for Aldi's meat by any means.

They were recently in the news for mislabeling horse meat as beef. So no, I never buy meat at Aldi.

But my point is that I have had the experience of finding fattier cuts hidden under the "pretty" cuts at all the major grocery chains. If you want to avoid, you'll have to get your meat directly from the butcher - and pay corrospondingly for his services.

Aldi Grocery review in Madison, Wisconsin: Terrorrisic threat from Aldi employee

I was in the Aldi store in Austin Mn. onApril 6, 2012 When a store employee by the name of jamie made a comment that can be considered to be a terroristic threat to protect trators and terrorrists, And as of the summer of 2011 that also includes trying to protect sexual preditors. That is in connection with an incident on christmas eve day that pertains to an item that was stolen. One of the perpurtrators was outside of Aldies and had followed to Aldies. That didnt have anything to do with Aldies until that comment was made on that day.

Is that $10.00 suppost to say sorry for those victims also. thats what the comment pertains to, That comment is a terroristic threat pertaining to future victims.

Aldi Grocery review in Elk River, Minnesota: Rockford Aldi (westside ***)

Alright alright alright. I'm not exactly a pissed consumer but I just really wanted to give this store major kudos for always delivering great CS. They always are helpful. VERY NICE and always look their best. Hi five westside Aldi! Way to step up your weight on the rest of the competition. Bagging counter is always clean. Bathrooms are spotless. And the parking lot is always clean. Well done store. Well done. Even with some of the horrible customers they get in that place, they always smile and are very helpful. The only bad thing I have encountered is that they are always soo busy.

Aldi Grocery review in Palisades Park, New Jersey: Aldi security is only for Aldi

I was pickpocketed in Aldi--when I requested a review of the videos, they were slow to react. Took multiple phone calls and then the admin to some bigwig in MN was quite rude.....It is unfortunate because overall Aldi is a good retailer--but this experience has made me rethink shopping there. The police said that outher grocery stores have procedures in place---but unfortunately Aldi does not. The security at Aldi if only for Aldi---not for their customers---The $200 I lost would go a long way at a full-service grocery store--and that is where I will shop in hte future.

The only way someone as illiterate as you could have had $200 on you was through something illegal, selling your body, selling drugs, stealing the money yourself. I bet the real reason you are angry is because you stole the money from the "thief" and they just took it back. You were the one stealing.

$200 is nothing? If $200 is nothing to you, why would you shop at a discount store?

I'm a college student with a part time job and if I had $200 stolen from me, it'd be pretty tough.

But no matter how much the amount was I think the point here is that the situation should have never happened and Aldi should have willingly given up their security footage.

$200? Write and complain when you have something to complain about.

$200 is nothing now-a-days. You might as well have said they took your pocket lint.

You could have used the $200 to buy Hooked-on-Phonics.
