Aldi Grocery review in Roanoke, Virginia: About Time We Cut Out All the Bells and Whistles for Better Prices

4.6
Details
This is a wonderful store as far as prices and efficiency. No fancy handling of everything to make it look perfect. Just simple choices and good prices with an eye on recycling. I have noticed customers have their own deal worked out on the carts. They will come with quarter in hand to take buggy. Food is great with their brands tasting like name brands. Good deals on produce make them affordable on a budget. We love you Aldi, and so much better than getting our mind boggled down with all the cards and hard to find discounted items at Krogers.

Aldi Grocery review in Lockport City, New York: Facial tissue horrible now

I stock up on willow tissue and noticed myself how thin and rough they are now. I found a box in my stash that was older and it was perfect. Now why did they go and change a great product, cutting back on costs most likely! :(

Aldi Grocery review: Horrid Commercial

The commercial with the father and son at a science fair is appalling. What a horrid way to represent a relationship with a father and his child. If you think that is appropriate, I am disappointed and will NEVER shop at your store. Shame on you. Rude is not funny. Try again.

Aldi Grocery review: Cream cheese

3.4
Details
This is in response to the cream cheese question. I have tried many dif brands of cream cheese & nothing ever compares to the taste of philly cream cheese if you eat it by itself. However if you’re baking it in something like a cheesecake, by the time you add the sugar, eggs, lemon etc, it is impossible to tell the difference between brands. Hope that helps

ALDI Inc. Distributed. The sliced pickled beets have a shelf date 2020.. the code was stamped onto the lid and is not clearly printed. The beets are hard as if raw. Very nasty taste. This item was purchased May 6, 2019. My reason for writing was to inform that I am...

I haven't had beets in years. I always used to love eating them as a child.

When my mama would be making dinner every night she would call me over to come pick out a vegetable the meal.

I always loved eating beets. I'm going to have to remember to get some the next time that I go shopping at the grocery sto.

The twice as nice guarantee means you get back the price of the returned item with original receipt and they refund the purchase price and give you a replacement product not double money. No I don't work for them I just returned something and discovered the twice is nice guarantee

Aldi Grocery review: Aldi discrimination

Aldi Supermarket UK definitely practices age discrimination. I applied for their graduate position back in 2009, when I was 30, and even though I have a small amount of experience and a good work record, was rejected outright. I then applied with an application that suggested I was circa 23 years old, and was contacted the very next day! I tried again just two weeks ago. By now I'm 39, with experience and a good work record (and with additional qualifications). No reply. Tried another similar application which suggested I was around 22 years old and had very little work experience. Contacted NEXT day!! Aldi. Discrimination and ageism abound. PS if you're of gypsy heritage, don't apply at Aldi.

When did Aldi start opening supermarkets? I am yet to see an Aldi with bakery, deli, grocery, meat/seafood, pharmacy, and produce/floral departments.

I too take offense. The original poster was comparing the Aldi employee to someone with special needs, which is a slur because she found them rude, not the reporting of a fact.

No need here to go off regarding unrelated situations.

If we wanted to start a mean spirited conversation about people who cannot be mainstreamed into the general public it would include lots of people not generally thought of as "Special needs." Including University Professors. Meanwhile I've never seen an issue with a Wal-Mart greeter or even heard of one.
