I LIVED Aldi's .UNTILL MY LAST VISIT!! I didn't have cash it my debit card to pay for the food.
He pushed
TOTALLY HUMILIATED..GAD A CART FULL OF GROCERIES. And turns out could not use my OTC Benefit /Mastercard/Debit Card because it doesn't have a pin.
The cashier was very hard on me..I'm 76 yrs old, a cancer patient. Don't get out much and needed FOOD!!
He pushed my cart aside told me to get out of the line and call cust serv. By this time 7 people waiting .I was totally humiliated..I was so physically shaken I had to leave the store.
.with $45.00 worth of groceries in the cart. The customer service rep awarded me $10!??? gift card .huh?? TEN DOLLARS??
Like a slap in the face really. I should have gotten AT LEAST $40-50.
AT This time I don't think zi will return to Aldi. Shop elsewhere.

My grapes were green and not red. My mochi icecream was completely melted.
My vanilla icecream was melted. My 4 pack of pumpkin popsicles for the kids were melted. My frozen mangos were melted. I picked up a pick up time from 3-4 because I had my daughters volleyball before hand and that was the time I could pick it up.
They got done with the order early and I'm guessing put it all in a refrigerator which is dumb because the frozen stuff won't stay frozen. They can't expect the customer to come early just because the order is done early. That's not realistic!
I am very mad. This is the first bad experience I have had.
User's recommendation: If the order is done early just know if you don't pick it up right away all the frozen items will melt and they won't keep it frozen for you!

Picked up 5 cans of stuff and went to check out. When I approached Ashley she didn't speak and I was trying to be friendly to her but very short and hateful.
As I was leaving she spoke very friendly to next person after I asked her name so I can contact customer service. Don't know her and no reason she should treat anyone that way when working with the public.
User's recommendation: I will be posting about how bad it was with Ashley at store 83 in Mexico Missouri.

Corporate says it's at the manager's discretion to accepts different checks or coupons. If all stores aren't participating then non of them should take it.
It's not my job to ride all over St.
Louis to find a Aldi's that accepts the coupon/check. SMH

Inventory at the stores in our area has declined noticeably
Make a list items you want to purchase. Youre lucky if they have 30% of them.
The other day they had no berries, mangoes, tiger shrimp, corn beef (which was advertised and it was the day the sale started 2 hours after opening), bananas, honey crisp apples, etc.
They have been out of pizza dough and prepacked ham for over a month. Its not worth the time to go.

I mistakenly left my floor mat at the self-checkout counter. Please make it easier to contact the store.

The bags that sit under the counter at the checkout had a sign that said .12 and there were no other signs for the price of the reusable bags. I said to the cashier, this sign says .12 and there is no other sign.
I want to speak to a manager. I also explained that I am the president of the Commission of Human Relations for the city of Pittsburgh. There needs to be a clear sign with a price for the bags. If there is no sign, the customer is always right.
The manager goes on to say, 'No, you are not. The price is .99 but your cashier said it was .75.' So no one knows the price of the bags.
He takes my bags off me and says you can have the paper bags but you are not getting these bags. He was very unprofessional with his non-English speaking, disrespectful attitude and clearly has a problem with people of color.

Stirling heat pump dryer purchased 15 months ago along with a washing machine same brand.
Did not unpack to fit and use till 4 weeks ago. ( 3 year warranty & has not been used at all.)
Washing machine worked perfectly, heat pump dryer did not function.
Returned dryer to the store (Edgecliff Sydney 2027) with a screen shot of the credit card purchase transaction , showing date ,cost and store identity.
The employee I dealt with refuse to acknowledge the screen shot invoice as evidence of purchase.
Could not seem to find a resolution.
& suggested I take this non functioning 40 kg item back home with me.
I spent 2 hours in Aldi trying to resolve this issue.
I had to be elsewhere and in frustration had to leave.
When I asked that he give me a receipt to prove I had dropped the item off and assuming he would solve my issue in my absence he refused to give such receipt.
When I asked that he take my details anddo not shop at Aldi contact me when he had resolved his inability to find history of the original transaction he refused also.
- Groceries are excellent
- Manufactured product was inferior as was the staff training and response
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Do not shop at Aldi for these sorts of goods, it is way out of their circle of competence , use a full service retailer
Resolved: The stores are okay, but their contact page is no good.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Provided a reply; offered a refund or replacement, but I discarded the product because I only shop there once a month.
Will check sell by date and/or use by date; or simply won't buy it. I'll check it before I'd put it in my cart from now on.
I am mailing a letter, as any of the online contact does no good. I am writing them about an issue I had with one of their products and assuming it gets to them, letting them know.
Depending on if they get it and how they handle it may determine if I continue to shop there. I entered my phone number every imaginable way on their online contact page, and it said it's invalid, but it is a valid phone number I've had for years.

I drank contents of a broken pit in smoothie.Concern of cyanide exposure.I found two pits in one small smoothie.Possibly a faulty equipment issue?Delicious product but unfortunately a risk to consume.I woke up feeling a bit woosy.cherries pits are usually ok to swallow whole.However a pit broken in blender is potentially harmful.I called poison control and they said to watch for symptoms.

Fruit rotten on my delivery tonight
The bag of the grapes is so sticky. I dont even wanna touch them, but a lot of empty stems were left.
The grapes are like pony and sticky not very edible. My orange is when I opened them up in the bag. I had two oranges that were split and mold and mildew in them. My strawberries they were moldy on the bottom my cucumber half of it was mushy.
That means it was rotten so disappointing. I always buy fruit always from you and never in this poor condition. Maybe because its a Saturday night but it shouldnt be. Thank you.
I tried to get to pictures to take pictures and send them, but Im 80 years old. Im lucky Im able to do this. I just happen to find your number so please get back to me somehow I dont think I should pay for these items and next time these items should be taken off of the shelf. Also, the lettuce heads were very soft.
Im hoping theyre OK when I open them up. Thank you come back to me if you can I appreciate it.

Verified Reviewer |Bad customer service and nearly impossible to file a complaint over rotten hamburger
After sending them pictures and explaining the situation they wanted me to return to the store. Upon opening the package there was brown almost black between the layers of hamburger.
I'm not driving 12 miles to return bad hamburger. So I just threw away $6.51.

"Aldi. Shop elsewhere." So, you expected other people to put their lives on hold because your had a problem.
Get out here with that noise.
What you did was ruin the cashiers numbers (their production in monitored) and caused other people to have to wait for you. No matter where you go from now on, order delivery and let people get on with their lives.
How is YOU needing a pin on YOUR benefit card the cashier’s fault? You and he could have a staring contest but you had two options.
Get out of line and call the number on your card or use another form of payment. You took your frustration out on the cashier.
Another thing, your age and any health condition have no place in the complaint. Do better.
