I was pretty disgusted with my first experience with Burman's Mayo from Aldi. Aldi has just recently entered our region of the country (Southern California) and I have been there a few times.
Many of the products are fine. Their mayo, however, is stale tasting and rather rancid. It has a good until date on the label that is not for another 6 months - but it honestly tastes like it's decades OLD. Not sure why anybody would like the generally odd and frankly objectionable taste.
Next time it will be a national brand. Saving $1. is nice - only if it is actually a comparable product.
This one bears no resemblance to Hellmans, Kraft or Best Foods.
